History


In 2012, CREC Coworking was born in Poble Sec with the first coworking space to transform the work environment. In more than 1,000 m² and with 150 positions, Roman Calavera, CEO of CREC Coworking Barcelona and Sabadell, wanted to promote a new way of working focused on creating synergies between professionals and building a global community.

In 2016, they opened their second coworking space in Barcelona, CREC Eixample, and in 2017 they created a new coworking concept, social return coworking. To promote this new concept they opened Sinèrgics, a municipal coworking supported by the Ajuntament de Barcelona and the Districte de Sant Andreu, to promote active participation in development projects of the nearby environment. In addition, in 2019 they opened their first space outside Barcelona, CREC Sabadell, to offer the coworking option to more people.

With the aim of promoting the development of freelancers and SMEs, they currently have a community of more than 300 professionals and are distributed in 6 offices.

Challenge


Having a wide network of coworking spaces, CREC Coworking has specific needs in each of its spaces.

The main challenge they faced was the manual management of their office supplies, which caused high costs at all stages, from contracting rates to invoice management and contract optimization. The objective, therefore, was to find a solution to reduce the time and costs spent in this process.
