Red.es announced this month the amendment to Order ETD/1498/2021, December 29, to the regulatory bases for the granting of grants for the Digital Kit Program. In today's article, we tell you what they are and how you can access them to give a boost to the digitalization of your business.
The Digital Kit is a Government initiative, framed in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Digital Spain Agenda 2026 and the Digitalization Plan for SMEs 2021-2025, and funded by the European Union's NextGeneration funds.
You can access digital bonds Until the end of the year, who are from €3,000 to €29,000, to invest them in the digitalization of your company through digitizing agents such as Polaroo.
Modification of Digital Kit bases
The news ranges from the extension of the digital bonus for companies with between 0 and 3 employees to a new category of digital solution and the opening of two new segments of companies with between 50 and 250 employees.
Increase in aid for microenterprises and the self-employed by €1,000
With the modification of the basic order of the Program, an increase in the amount of help for segment III companies, that is, companies with between 0 and less than 3 employees, which amount to an additional €1,000. Therefore, the aid goes from €2,000 to €3,000.
The request for aid with the new amount can be made once the application form has been opened next June 2024.
With the objective of ensuring the principles of equal treatment, non-discrimination and transparency, This increase is retroactive. Therefore, companies within segment III that have already applied for aid will be able to benefit from this increase, even in those cases that have already consumed their digital voucher.
If you are already a beneficiary and want to request an extension of €1,000, the process will be simple: access your file, select the enabled button and sign the compliance. The concession is automatic.
New digital solution: 'Safe Workplace'
A new solution has been added to the Digitalization Solutions Catalogue exclusive for segment III called 'Safe Workplace'. This solution includes a hardware device with a cybersecurity licence and encryption/encryption at rest to ensure the privacy of stored data and documents.
With this new category, the objective is to promote task automation, efficient data management and fluid communication to improve productivity and competitiveness in a secure environment.
The maximum amount eligible for This solution is €1,000, applicable to new laptops or desktops that meet minimum storage, processor, RAM and operating system requirements. Full details are available in the Order of Bases and in the official website.
Beneficiary companies from segment III that receive €3,000 and wish to implement this solution must combine it with another additional solution in the Catalogue.
Medium-sized companies as new beneficiaries of the Program
Until now, the Digital Kit included small businesses, microenterprises and the self-employed divided into three segments:
- Segment I: Companies with between 10 and less than 50 employees, with a digital bonus of €12,000.
- Segment II: Companies or microenterprises with between 3 and less than 10 employees, with a digital bonus of €6,000.
- Segment III: Companies, microenterprises with between 0 and less than 3 employees and people in a situation of self-employment, with a digital bonus of €2,000 (starting in June it amounts to €3,000).
With the latest modifications to the Program as well Medium-sized companies are included to obtain aid, establishing two new segments:
- Segment IV: Companies with between 50 and less than 100 employees, with a grant of €25,000.
- Segment V: Companies with between 100 and less than 250 employees, with a grant of €29,000.
The request for these segments can be made once the call is published and the application form, scheduled for the last quarter of 2024, is opened.
